Hindsight of Urbanization

Cities are known for their glamorous lifestyle and architecture with comfort, progress, convenience and development. On the surface, it’s all very appealing... but underneath it is crippling. We live it every day but we don’t realise the adversity of it.
We are so well informed yet ignorant, and so close yet apart. On an individual level we might not see the impact, but collectively, the extent of damage being done in the name of comfort through urban spaces that we have developed is threatening.
This series tries to visualise the input of individuals on a bigger scale in urban ecosystem that is damaging our environment and planet.

Exhibition: Curating the Curators
“Curating the Curators” was a group show of nine amazing artists of diverse fields of arts.
In addition to works showcased in the show, another engaging entry point into the way artists curate their art practice and thought process is presented in form of artist conversations, published as a book.
This travelling group show was curated by a newly formed artist collective, "Virtuosi" Virtuosi aims to showcase Art from mainstream genres alongside works from peripheral disciplines.
